I’m Cathy Brown, a writer and editor with more than 30 years of experience in journalism and marketing.
I spent most of my journalism career writing for small dailies and the Associated Press in Alaska. I covered topics ranging from state budgets to seaweed recipes.
After becoming a parent, I worked in marketing for MRM in Salt Lake City, where I wrote for the Verizon, Cisco, U.S. Postal Service, and Regence BlueCross BlueShield accounts.
Right now, I live in Phoenix, Arizona, with my husband, son, two pets, and a continually pulsing oxygen concentrator keeping me alive. But alive I am, and still writing and editing, albeit part time.
Feel free to take a look at some of my published articles or my blog (which has exactly one post–I guess that wasn’t really my thing). If you want to read the story of my life in job bullets, I’m on LinkedIn. You can email me at catbrown38@gmail.com.
